Center for Biomedical Innovation
Faculty of Medicine
Université de Montréal
The Centre d’innovation biomédicale (CIB) is a major initiative of the Faculty of Medicine at the Université de Montréal, aiming to study the mysteries of human biology to unravel the fundamental mechanisms of living organisms and fuel the discovery of new treatments.
The 50 teams of the CIB enable the integration of quantitative methods and innovative approaches, using cutting-edge technological platforms to better understand the functioning of living organisms, from a single molecule to their organization into complex cellular systems. We conduct in-depth research that explores bacterial physiology and the discovery of new antibiotics, the structure of macromolecules and gene/protein regulation, the cellular composition of the brain and computational neurosciences, the organization of our organs and tissues, and more. We openly share our data, ideas, and tools with the world to accelerate progress and unlock the full potential of our breakthroughs.
The CIB is seeking applications from talented prospective postdoctoral fellows for a two-year fellowship program in the fields investigated by its researchers.
