Job summary

Canada Post is seeking a temporary on-call Clerk in the Delivery Operations area. The role offers a flexible schedule with shifts including days, evenings, overnights and weekends, learning about the business of mail operations and opportunities at Canada Post.

This temporary position requires no prior experience, with production environment experience considered an asset and a lot of on-site activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accept mail items.
• Sort, scan and sequence and batch mail items.
• Transfer and load a postal truck.
• Transfer and dispatch parcels and packets.
• Complete reports and documentation.
• Lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kilograms (50lbs).
• Perform other postal clerk duties as required.
