Salary range - $210,000 - $220,000

What You Will Be Doing

  • Pursue the target and improve project efficiency, in accordance with the indications received from the Construction Manager / Project Manager;
  • Ensure compliance with company’s policies and operational guidelines, coordinating with corporate functions to adjust them to local needs;
  • Manage the daily responsibilities of site personnel including directing work, disciplining when required, conducting performance reviews, training employees, addressing complaints and resolving issues that may arise during post tension activities;
  • Support the Construction Manager / Project Manager in defining project planning and execution, to pursue effective planning, production, budget management and respect for the work plan;
  • Develop and manage production schedules required to achieve the proposed objectives, defining the required resources (human, administrative, technical and material) to achieve them;
  • Coordinate with Design Office to ensure that the required drawings are available on site well in advance;
  • Report to the Construction Manager / Project Manager all issues and discrepancies that may arise during work execution;
  • Support the Engineering Office to resolve potential technical issues relevant to day-to-day post tensioning activities;
  • Supervise schedules and post tension operations;
  • Supervise materials, inventories, and supplies needed for post tensioning;
  • Supervise and manage all subcontractors involved in post tension installation and activities;
  • Ensure all employees comply with and enforce hygiene and safety rules at work, following the Health and Safety Plan.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field highly regarded;
  • 10+ years’ experience in similar roles in construction;
  • Knowledge of the market, solutions / services the company can provide, and competitors;
  • Knowledge of post tensioning solutions and techniques;
  • Knowledge of construction cost estimating, scheduling, and understanding of construction drawings;
  • Knowledge of labor costs, techniques, and material costs in construction;
  • Knowledge of contracts, legal issues, and safety standards;
  • Ability to organize activities within the managed process framework;
  • Ability to evaluate make-or-buy decisions.
