Role Overview

As an Alphawave Semi Application Engineer, you will work within the post-silicon validation team to validate collaterals for customers designing their SoC with our IPs. You will interact with customers, supporting their integration and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the IP CR&D team to qualify Alphawave IPs through post-silicon validation of in-house test chips.
• Manage technical communication with customers from project kick-off to silicon bring-up.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues during integration, simulation, implementation, and silicon phases.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Report to the Director of Application Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in post-silicon validation.
• Hands-on experience with bench test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and VNAs.
• Experience in functional testing and ATE debugging.
• Experience with IP validation in interfaces like USB, PCIe, Serdes, UCIe.
• Proficiency in automation languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL.
