Why this role is important?

Summary:

Responsible for organizing and delivering full-service retail postal services (courier items, postal boxes, money transfers, call-in parcels) to Shoppers Drug Mart customers, maximizing department revenue and customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Leads by example and ensures that Post Office staff demonstrate our CORE Values
• Interviews and recommends final candidates for hiring
• Ensures Post Office cashiers comply with all Store Standards
• Trains employees in job functions and provides ongoing coaching and instructions
• Assists with completing performance reviews of Post Office cashier staff in conjunction with the FSM

Customer Service:

• Ensures exceptional customer service is provided beyond expectations
• Ensures employees present proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy

Loss Prevention:

• Ensures all loss prevention systems and procedures are performed according to Standards
• Ensures procedures regarding parcel checks are adhered to

Qualifications:

• Planning, Judgement and Decision Making
• Independent thinking and decision making when dealing with customer requests
• Judgment & decisions are made based on asking the right questions leading to appropriate solutions
• Ability to act upon tasks and goals outlined by management

Experience:

• Experience with retail and cash handling
