Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a customer-focused associate to provide prompt, superior service at the retail postal outlet. You will maintain an organized checkout area, greet customers with a friendly demeanor, and accurately process scans, cash, and PC Optimum cards.

You’ll also handle merchandising, loss prevention, and general store duties, while upholding health and safety, dress code, and housekeeping standards. Flexible schedules and employee discounts are typical benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customers.
• Maintains a neat and organized checkout area.
• Greets all customers and displays warm demeanor.
• Accurately scans or enters product data.
• Accurately accounts for cash and coupon, lottery, and PC Optimum.
• Asks for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction.
• Merchandises and maintains designated areas (i.e. facing, signing, labeling, etc).
• Ensures proper documentation completed with respect to customers receipt and return of goods.
• Patrols loss prevention standards and helps control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.
• Presents proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines.
• Complies with all health and safety regulations and store policies.
• Maintains housekeeping and image standards.
