Job summary

Canada Post / Postes Canada in Ste. Rose Du Lac, Manitoba is seeking an on-call Post Office Assistant who will deliver a customer‑focused counter service experience for the community.

You will sell postal products, sort mail, provide forms, and address delivery issues to resolve problems quickly and thoroughly. Residency in the local community is preferred. This position includes on-call hours and on-site duties at the Ste. Rose post office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or provincial equivalency.
• Experience interacting with the public in retail or service, including sales and cash transactions.
• Understanding of general or post office accounting systems.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lb, push/pull boxes, and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work.

• Physically fit to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail and stand for extended periods of time
• Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work
