Job summary

Autism Services is hiring an experienced post frame carpenter to work on all stages of our builds, from setting posts to final trims. You’ll join a small, dependable crew on projects ranging from local to several hours away, with multi-day stays required.

The role involves drilling, framing laminated posts, installing cladding, doors, insulation, and interior linings, while maintaining safety on heights and on-site organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in post frame carpentry and framing techniques.
• Willingness to travel for multi-day builds and stay away from home.
• Comfort operating lifts and standard construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drill holes and set, plumb, and brace laminated posts.
• Frame trusses, purlins, girts, and structural members.
• Install exterior metal cladding, trims, and closures.
• Install windows, man doors, overhead and bi-fold doors.
• Install insulation, vapour barrier, strapping, and interior metal liner.
• Work safely at heights and operate lifts and standard construction equipment.
• Keep a clean, organized job site.
