Job description

We are currently hiring a full-time post-construction cleaner in the Greater Vancouver area. The ideal candidate will ensure that residential units and building common areas are consistently clean, sanitized, and move-in ready for future residents.

A vehicle is required, as the position involves working at multiple job sites depending on contract location.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Remove all trash, dirt, and debris from the interior of units and dispose of waste in the designated dumpsters.
  • Thoroughly clean tubs, toilets, lavatories, kitchen sinks, and appliances.
  • Remove drywall filler, paint, mastic, grout, and other materials from surfaces, including tubs, fixtures, and floors.
  • Clean all kitchen and vanity cabinets, countertops (including corners and backsplash), and vacuum inside all cabinetry.
  • Clean all electrical fixtures, trim, appliances, wood baseboards, casings, doors (top and bottom), and wood shelving.
  • Clean all windows, glass doors, frames, sills, tracks, and remove any construction residue (e.g., paint, grout).
  • Clean utility closets, storage areas, washing machine/dryer areas, and prepare edges for caulking/sealing.
  • Remove Ram Boards when instructed by the Site Superintendent.
  • Dust or vacuum walls; thoroughly vacuum all carpeted areas, paying special attention to corners.
  • Sweep and wash ceramic and balcony flooring.
  • Complete final cleaning to ensure the unit is ready for occupancy or sale.
  • Clean and maintain common areas including hallways, stairwells, elevators, lobbies, and amenity rooms.

Job Details:

Position: Full-Time Cleaner

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: $20 per hour + $500 monthly car allowance

Location: Various sites across the Greater Vancouver area

Requirements:

  • Valid Canadian driver’s license
  • Access to a personal vehicle
  • Minimum 2 years of cleaning experience (preferred)
