Point of Sale (POS) systems and devices, specifically for POS Mobile Devices and Mobile POS Platform.

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Automation Tester with POS testing experience to join our QEA team. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality products for each release, supporting automation test engineering, test planning, and adhering to QA best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for POS systems.
• Conduct thorough testing of POS systems to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
• Take ownership of automation testing and lead automation activities within the team.
• Collaborate with functional QA team members to understand technical requirements before automating.
• Participate in automation script code reviews and provide guidance on automation best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to coordinate testing efforts.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable testing solutions.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide updates, address concerns, and align testing activities.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience designing test cases, developing mobile automation frameworks, and validating data.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with POS Mobile Devices and Mobile POS Platforms.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages; Python is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience testing iOS applications using tools like Appium and Xcode.
• Experience working with XCUI and XCTest frameworks.
• Strong experience in creating test data and performing end-to-end testing for POS devices/applications.
• 3+ years of experience in API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
• Understanding of Git processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with JIRA for project management and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with code repositories like GitHub.
