What You’ll Be Doing

As a member of the Croesus Support team, you will collaborate with team members, internal partners, and external vendors to support day-to-day functions and activities related to the Croesus Advisor and Croesus Xpert portfolio management systems. You will have the opportunity to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring high-quality data for our advisors, branch staff, and head office team members to provide objective advice and effective reporting. You will coordinate the resolution of issues requiring intervention by the business and/or technology division.

At CIBC, we enable a flexible work environment. You can perform all activities remotely and will only be required on-site occasionally.

How You’ll Succeed
  • Support & Collaboration: Provide caring application support to CIBC Wood Gundy branch staff, head office, and partners in CIBC Investor Services Inc. Investigate complex inquiries and collaborate with Wealth Management Technology and other support teams. Ensure issues are tracked and resolved efficiently, working with Operations and Wealth360 business consultants to deliver seamless support.

  • Application Improvements: Support the implementation of application fixes and improvements in conjunction with business consultants and senior managers. Assist with testing to ensure user satisfaction.

  • Be a Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a SME for Croesus Advisor and Croesus Xpert applications and participate in training and development sessions as needed.

Who You Are
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or diploma in business or IT systems (or equivalent experience). Certified professional with completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or brokerage industry experience.

  • Digital Savvy: Demonstrate advanced computer skills, especially in Excel.

  • Financial Knowledge: Working knowledge of financial concepts, calculations, and instruments such as stocks, options, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, etc.

  • Communication Skills: Effectively convey complex information in writing and verbally, interacting comfortably with stakeholders. Influence outcomes and build relationships.

  • Attention to Detail: Motivated to analyze deeply, identify problems, and perform detailed work.
