Job summary

Aviso Wealth is seeking a Portfolio Manager, Managed Assets Program (MAP) to lead discretionary portfolio management and support for advisor engagements. You will help shape investment strategy, oversee trading, and drive data‑driven improvements across the managed account platform.

You will collaborate with PMs, technology, and advisory teams, providing client meetings support and market commentary. A strong background in investments and fluency in English are essential.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary degree in business or related discipline.
• CFA Charter holder or equivalent certification preferred.
• Licensed CIRO Portfolio Manager (Discretionary).
• 5–7 years in investments with at least 3 years of discretionary PM experience.
• Strong understanding of financial services, market research and portfolio theory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Python and Power BI for portfolio oversight and drift monitoring.
• Experience with Wealth360 & Dataphile systems is an asset.
• Fluent English; bilingual French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Co‑manage internal investment mandates and models.
• Bridge portfolio management, technology, and advisor experience for platform improvements.
• Support financial advisors with client meetings via presentations and updates.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly market webcasts for advisors.
• Prepare and approve investment policy statements for clients.
• Collaborate on tactical investment strategies and client implementations.
• Review investment mandates and provide optimization recommendations.
• Communicate platform strategy and performance updates to advisors.
