Role Description / Key Responsibilities

This role will optimize project and portfolio performance by driving consistency, efficiency, and integration across planning, controls, and reporting functions. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, ensuring project data and reporting are aligned with business needs, systems are optimized, and teams are supported in delivering successful outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Standardize project intake, assessment, and setup processes.
  • Monitor planning horizons and project start readiness.
  • Facilitate integration between controls disciplines to improve collaboration, alignment, communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to project planning defining controls management plans appropriate to project size, complexity, and risk.
  • Be a conduit for communication to flow between the project teams, functional controls leads, and program management.
  • Analyze project performance (critical path, forecasts, milestones, resourcing) and provide insights to program management.
  • Drive alignment between departmental and corporate reporting.

Skills/Previous Experience

  • Strong background in project controls (estimating, scheduling, cost management).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives and foster cross-functional collaboration and trust.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to escalate and resolve critical issues.
