Perched on the scenic Naramata Bench with panoramic views of Okanagan Lake, Red Rooster Winery offers guests an elevated and unforgettable wine country experience. As a Winery Porter, you’ll be an essential part of our hospitality team, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring a welcoming, polished atmosphere for all guests.

Your duties will include clearing and resetting tables, polishing glassware, assisting with food prep, maintaining stock, and helping bring our unique events to life. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a lively, team-driven environment and is passionate about great wine and great service.

This is a seasonal position from mid-April/May to mid-October 2025.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and help create a relaxed, engaging wine tasting experience.

Assist with food service, including preparation and timely delivery of orders.

Reset tasting stations and maintain cleanliness throughout the guest areas.

Polish wine glasses to uphold our high presentation standards.

Monitor guest interactions and alert a manager if any concerns arise.

Support setup and teardown for special events and curated experiences.

Participate in daily opening and closing procedures, keeping all spaces clean and well-stocked.

What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and listening skills, with a flair for hospitality.

A love for wine and the ability to share that enthusiasm with others.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Legal eligibility to work in Canada without restriction.

Indoor and outdoor tasks, including hot summer days (up to 40°C).

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Involves light physical activity such as bending, stair climbing, and moving stock.

Fast-paced, guest-focused setting, especially during peak months.

Competitive hourly wage ($17.40 - $18.50/hour) plus gratuities and commission on wine sales and wine club sign-ups.
