About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Unit Manager, the Porter Combo is responsible for transporting and assisting patients who are scheduled for surgical or diagnostic procedures, or who otherwise require porter services. They are also involved in obtaining and delivering supplies, specimens, charts, correspondence and other items to staff as required. This position ensures that stretchers are cleaned and prepared for patients.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade 12
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and written
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with patients and other staff and public
  • Ability to assist patients from bed to stretcher and wheelchairs as well as onto examining tables
  • Current CPR Certification or willing to complete CPR Certification within 30 days
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

$20.13 - $21.69 Hourly
