Job summary

Whitby Oshawa Honda is currently seeking a Service Porter to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership. The role involves greeting customers, parking vehicles for service, sanitizing and seating/foot mats, and assisting with shuttle duties and write-ups.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a minimum high school diploma, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and park vehicles for service.
• Sanitize vehicles and install plastic seat covers and paper floor mats.

• Occasional shuttle duties and write work orders when needed.
• Perform customer vehicle valet duties and support service advisors.
• Collaborate with team to improve efficiencies.

Whitby Oshawa Hondais currently seeking a Service Porter to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose/Summary of Position:

This role is responsible for greeting customers and parking their vehicle ready for service, sanitizing vehicles and installing plastic seat covers and paper floor mats, light cleaning in customer lounge area (sanitizing touch points) occasional shuttle duties, filling in for service advisors and writing work orders, customer vehicle valet duties and other admin duties as required. The role is also responsible for ongoing collaboration with fellow team members and improving efficiencies whenever possible.
