Job summary

Woodbine GM in Etobicoke, Ontario is seeking a Service Porter to support the service department by coordinating vehicle flow, moving cars, and ensuring a safe, customer‑friendly environment.

You will assist technicians, prep vehicles for service, manage drive‑up traffic, and uphold dealership safety standards in a fast‑paced outdoor setting. A valid license and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in an automotive, dealership, or customer-facing environment is an asset.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (training available if needed).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stay active throughout the shift.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a busy service environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the service drive and assist with vehicle intake as needed.
• Move customer vehicles to designated parking areas, service bays, or wash stations safely and efficiently.
• Retrieve vehicles for customer pickup and ensure they are clean and ready for delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking lots, and dealership grounds.
• Assist technicians and service advisors with vehicle staging and shop flow.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections such as checking fuel levels, tire condition, and exterior condition.
• Support shuttle service operations when required.
• Help manage dealership loaner or rental vehicles, including inspecting for damage and refueling.
• Follow all dealership, OEM, and safety guidelines when handling vehicles and operating equipment.
• All other duties as assigned by leadership.
