Location: Portland, OR
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM

Join our team as a Porter and gain valuable experience while training to become a successful member of our Multi-Family Maintenance department. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in building a long-term career in property management and maintenance.

What You’ll Learn and Do:

As a Porter, you’ll receive on-the-job training in all aspects of apartment maintenance, working under the guidance of experienced professionals. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Assisting and taking direction from the Multi-Family Maintenance Supervisor

Learning how to conduct maintenance checks in apartment units to identify and resolve issues

Gaining experience in basic plumbing repairs and safety checks

Learning to inspect and maintain appliances for proper operation

Performing preventative maintenance such as caulking, cleaning wall heaters, and attaching shower guards

Assisting with unit turnover preparation to ensure new residents move into clean, safe homes

Participating in property-wide upkeep, including gutter and siding repairs, exterior painting, and pavement patching

Keeping common areas and grounds free of trash and debris

Maintaining a positive, respectful attitude with residents, coworkers, and supervisors
