Position Overview

The Cashier plays a key role in creating a positive customer experience by handling financial transactions and providing administrative support. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Handling & Transactions

• Accurately calculate and process payments for service and parts
• Receive and record cash, checks, credit/debit cards
• Issue receipts, make change, and ensure accurate end-of-day reconciliation
  
  

Administrative Duties

• Reconcile and verify service and parts invoices
• Balance cash drawers, credit card batches, and checks against transaction logs
• Maintain organized filing systems (repair orders, parts tickets, etc.)
• Process internal repair orders daily
• Prepare and maintain financial transaction reports
  
  

Customer Service

• Greet customers and assist with invoice or payment questions
• Answer and transfer calls using a multi-line phone system
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and direct to appropriate staff when needed
  
  

Team Support

• Collaborate with service and parts teams to ensure smooth daily operations
• Check in with management before the end of each shift to ensure all tasks are complete
• Assist with special tasks as assigned by management
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with computers and POS systems preferred
• Previous cashier or accounting experience a plus
