Join our dynamic, diverse team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler as the Full Time, Permanent Pool Attendant. This position will run in the summer and winter seasons.

We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance.
Hourly wage: $18.50 - $28.50
What you will do:
Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming poolside environment.
Proactively anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction levels, and promptly address concerns or requests.
Provide accurate and courteous information to guests.
Deliver beverages, water, towels, and other requested items in a timely manner.
Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to poolside guests.
Support Food Servers by assisting with guest orders and overall service flow.
Take and relay food and beverage orders.
Craft and serve a variety of cocktails using mixology skills from the Pool Bartender station.
Contribute to stocking service items such as linens, china, glass, silver, and assist in preparing small food or beverage items.
Maintain a clean, safe, and fully stocked Pool Bartender station.
Develop thorough knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
Assist in the clearing, cleaning, and setup of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass, and silver in accordance with Four Seasons Standards.
Inspect and prepare pool sections and lounge setups before opening.
Monitor and maintain the condition and appearance of menus and lists.
Ensure compliance with health department regulations and maintain a safe poolside environment.
Set up and manage the host/hostess stand, including handling reservations and assigning seating based on service standards.
Stay informed about server stations, daily assignments, timing patterns, and workload capacities.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth, efficient, and enjoyable poolside service.
Foster a professional and harmonious working relationship with colleagues and supervisors.
What you bring:
High school education or equivalent experience.
Minimum one year of food service or related work.
Ability to carry and balance a tray.
Ability to accurately read food tickets and communicate orders with the kitchen and servers.
Fluent English (written, spoken and reading).
‘Serving It Right’ certificate.
Strong commitment to service, and a great attitude!
Must have valid work authorization for Canada.

Schedule & Hours:
As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our service staff to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays.
