Are you looking to have some fun in the sun this summer and make money doing it? Why not join us poolside at the Radisson Blu outdoor pool this summer from June 1st to September 15th. The Host is responsible for welcoming guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Your backdrop faces Lake Ontario to the south and the CN Tower to the north, helping our hotel guests and day-pass holders enjoy an amazing poolside experience.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Greeting and seating guests, and presenting the various poolside cocktail and dining menus;
• Interacting with guests in a friendly, professional manner;
• Answering the phone and taking restaurant reservations;
• Restocking supplies and keeping the work area clean;
• Ensuring the bar area and lounge are clean and tidy;
• Assist in other areas of food and beverage as determined by management.

What We Are Looking For...

• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills;
• Good communication, organizational, and time management skills;
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and bend for up to 8 hours;
• Excellent grooming standards;
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

It would be advantageous to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Experience in Food and Beverage or hospitality industry;
• Knowledge of Micros, Lightspeed, or other POS systems;
• Smart Serve certification.
