Job description

Manage External Warehouse Operations

Manage external warehouse operations and processes, including SAP troubleshooting, inventory management, document accuracy, and tolling transportation management.

Load Planning and Cost Improvement

Oversee load planning management and efforts to improve LTL / FTL costs.

Logistics Claims and Customer Delivery

Monitor logistics claims, implement corrective actions (such as packaging improvements and root cause analysis), and collaborate with the sales customer service team to enhance delivery accuracy and meet delivery dates.

Master Data Management

Understand the importance of updating master data (customer and material master data) to ensure smooth logistics processes.

Meetings and Procurement Support

Participate in monthly transportation review meetings and quarterly metrics reviews. Assist 3PL procurement personnel with freight negotiations as needed.

Transportation Operations

Manage daily operations of Truckload and Less-Truckload shipments, focusing on cost per pound and resolving issues affecting costs and service metrics. Be knowledgeable across all transportation modes, including quoting and internal cost estimates for air, ocean, and truck shipments.

• At least 2 years of transportation experience, preferably in both brokerage and manufacturing sectors.
• Location: Onsite 5 days a week.
