Position Description:

1. The Polysomnographic Technologist ensures all procedures related to diagnostic and therapeutic polysomnographic services are performed accurately and safely.

You will receive 240 hours of practical and theoretical training.

Responsibilities include direct patient contact, explaining procedures, setting up for overnight studies, addressing questions, troubleshooting technical issues, and monitoring sleep studies overnight.

Position Qualifications:

• High School diploma required; BSc in Sciences, Psychology, Biology, Neuroscience, or an allied health degree preferred.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, typically 10 hours per shift, 3-4 nights per week, including weekends.
• Flexible to work up to 40 hours per week.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills; ability to work independently.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care.
• A Vulnerable Sector Check is required within the first month of employment.
