The successful candidate will provide political and communications advice to the Regional Council, engage with media, and create various communication materials. Our client is looking to fill the role of Regional Political Communications Officer for their northern offices located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
This role will entail providing political and communications advice, assistance and support to the Regional Executive Vice President and the Regional Council.
Aside from the experience required to be effective in this role, the ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and passionate about regional economic, social, political and labour issues.
This person will be agile with the ability to write content that will be communicated both internally and externally to various regional, political and social justice organizations and groups as needed.
