A prominent healthcare organization in Manitoba is seeking a Policy Writer to develop and revise policies and procedures for clinical services. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, a background in public policy or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in policy development. Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Under the supervision of the Clinical Documentation Lead, the Policy Writer is responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to review, develop, and revise policies, procedures, clinical guidelines, and associated resources related to clinical services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. The incumbent must possess strong writing skills, a deep understanding of clinical operations, and a commitment to promoting high-quality patient care and safety. Additionally, the role involves coordination and facilitation to ensure effective policy development and stakeholder engagement.
