Join us as our Watch Clerk and become a part of one of the busiest RCMP detachments in western Canada. Utilize your training and experience to provide operational and administrative support to the Watch Commander and RCMP members. Use your superior customer service and communication skills to respond to various inquiries from the public and other authorized police agencies.
As a highly organized and detail-oriented multi-tasker, you will retrieve information from various RCMP databases, maintain internal records, prepare court documentation, transcribe statements, and monitor video surveillance cameras. This position works a rotational schedule of 12-hour day shifts and 11-hour night shifts.
Experience in a police environment, along with strong computer literacy with RCMP systems, is essential. An RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance and a typing speed of 45 words per minute are also required.
