The Prince George's County Police Department is seeking recruit candidates for classes beginning in 2025 and 2026. We are looking for men and women with good character, sound judgment, honesty, reliability, and integrity, who support community-oriented policing and are eager to serve the citizens of Prince George's County.

Note : If you receive a conditional offer of employment and are invited to the Academy, you must pass the APRT again before graduation. No exceptions.
Examples of Work
The duties of a police officer include responding to calls, maintaining order, enforcing laws, report writing, courtroom presentation, and serving the community. Shift work is required.
