Job Title: Plumbing Service Technician / Plumber

Department: Service

Reports to: Service Manager

Work Hours: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with On-Call Rotation Schedule; Overtime as Required

Pay Scale: Base $30/hour with the potential to earn up to $55/hour including Benefits & Spif Programs

Position Summary: To provide service and maintenance to residential and light commercial plumbing systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. The job duties include maintenance, repair and installation of plumbing and water heater systems up to company standards, while providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Work involves performance of skilled plumbing tasks including maintaining, installing, repairing, and servicing a variety of plumbing fixtures and equipment. Must have experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and installing water heaters (standard and tankless), sump pumps, toilets, sinks, faucets, showers, various valves, pipes, and drains. Routine maintenance, service, and repair work are performed independently.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or its equivalent
• 5+ years experience
• Provide excellent customer service to residential customers by educating them on plumbing services recommended in their home if a foreseeable and/or hazardous condition is detected.
• Gas Line experience a must
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized and proficient of reading blueprints
• Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes
• Willing to work in all types of weather
• Considerable knowledge of standard tools, methods, and materials of the plumbing trade
• Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings, and safety precautions of the work
