The Home Depot in Canada is seeking a Sales Associate who thrives on helping customers succeed, guiding them to the right solutions for their projects, and continually learning. You will greet, engage, and thank customers while delivering fast, friendly service and a strong emphasis on department and product knowledge.

Responsibilities include driving sales through customer needs assessment, promoting services, maintaining stock, and building knowledge of products across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum Years of Work Experience: 1 to 2 years Retail or Trade experience an asset.

Responsabilités

• Ensures Customer Satisfaction by greeting, engaging, and thanking customers.
• Actively seek customers throughout the store and escort them to appropriate merchandise across departments.
• Ask open-ended questions about the customer’s projects to determine needs and expertise.
• Promote services such as Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, Pro Services, etc. and how to recommend them.
• Discuss options (good, better, best) and suggest related items or services outside of department.
• Educate customers about the whole project and maintain product knowledge across departments.
