Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort in Canada is seeking a Plumbing & Electrical Manager to lead and scale our service teams. You will drive operational performance, oversee installation and maintenance projects, and mentor technicians to deliver top-class customer experiences.

You will champion safety, optimize workflows, and collaborate with leaders across branches to grow our market presence while maintaining efficiency and quality in a dynamic home-comfort business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred; leadership experience required.
• Proven ability to lead teams and meet corporate objectives.
• Strong communication and people development skills.
• Plumbing license would be an asset; related trade background beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, measure, and implement best-practice initiatives to improve productivity across metrics.
• Increase team efficiency through analytics and direct leadership.
• Champion customer experience by aligning team actions with service standards.
• Promote health & safety compliance and a strong safety culture in the region.
• Build and develop an capable operations team through hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Provide leadership to ensure effective and efficient team performance.
• Drive growth through exceptional service and improved technical leadership and conversion rates.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders and drive local business growth.
• Identify potential business development and customer service opportunities to expand market presence.
• Perform other duties as needed to maintain efficient department operations.

What will you do?

• Responsible for monitoring, measuring and implementing best practice initiatives to ensure that productivity improvements are realized across all metrics
• Maximize your team’s efficiency through enhanced analytics and direct interaction
• Champion for Customer Experience ensuring that all team members understand the importance and processes for drive customer experience improvement
• Responsible for promoting a strong safety culture and understanding of the importance of Health & Safety in the region, ensuring adherence to H&S practices and policies
• Build a strong operations team by continual improvement in hiring, on-boarding, training and development of talent
• Responsible for providing leadership and management to team members in order to perform effectively and efficiently
• Lead and support the development of a mentality that drives Growth through Service and improves on technical lead and conversion rates
• Develop and maintain relationships within key areas and stakeholders in the business
• Develop any potential business development and/or customer service opportunities to maximize market growth in surrounding area
• Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations

What do you bring?

• Possess a college/university degree, or equivalent work experience
• Plumbing license would be an asset
• Achieved 1-2 years of successful leadership experience against formalized corporate objectives
