The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a skilled Plumber or Oil Burner Mechanic in Norman Wells. This position involves performing plumbing and oil burner mechanic services along with preventative maintenance at GNWT facilities.

This position reports to the Maintenance Coordinator and is located in Norman Wells. The position performs plumbing/oil burner mechanic services; preventative maintenance and repairs for GNWT owned and operated facilities in Norman Wells, and frequent site visits to other communities in the Sahtu as required.
A mandatory requirement for this position is a Journeyman Certificate in Plumber or Oil Burner Mechanic.

The salary for this position starts at $45.34 per hour (approximately $94,307.20 per annum) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $20,878.00.
