Kizee Mechanical Ltd. in Delta, BC is hiring a Plumber Helper to assist plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Previous plumbing experience is an asset; training provided.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication skills to follow instructions and coordinate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Carry materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Help locate and mark positions for pipe connections, fixtures, and openings in walls and floors.
• Prepare work areas by setting up equipment, protecting surfaces, and cleaning sites.
• Support testing of plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation using air and water pressure equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing basic plumbing issues such as clogged drains or leaking fixtures.
• Follow instructions from plumbers and supervisors to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
• Observe workplace safety procedures, job-site rules, and company policies.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with team members to support daily work activities.
• Perform other related plumbing helper duties, as assigned, to support timely completion of projects.

Work Location: Various job sites throughout the Lower Mainland (BC) as per company’s contracts

Salary: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour

Overtime pay and vacation pay in accordance with applicable employment standards

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and carry out assigned tasks under supervision.


• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, as required by job sites and project schedules.
