Maintenance Department
Salary as per Collective Agreement: $34.56-$40.41/hr
Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools covers a geographical area that includes the regional communities of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Spirit River. We are a team of 600 staff who provide quality teaching and learning experiences for approximately 5400 students.
Position Overview
This role is responsible for ongoing construction, repair, and maintenance of Division air conditioning units, boilers, and DDC controls in addition to plumbing and heating. The successful candidate will have diverse experience and up to date knowledge of industry standards. This role may also be required to assist the Maintenance Department with special projects and general maintenance tasks.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Journeyperson Plumber/Gasfitter status awarded by Alberta’s Apprenticeship and Industry Training
• Interprovincial Standards Red Seal preferred
• 3 years’ experience leading commercial and industrial plumbing projects
• A valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license in good standing
• Strict adherence to safety standards
• Inspect, estimate, and manage plumbing projects
