Qualifications

• Registered as a Plumber Apprentice in Alberta.
• Skills in blueprint interpretation and safe tool handling.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of plumbing in modular units.
• Troubleshoot and test plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Follow safety procedures during all work.

We are looking for an energetic, passionate, reliable Plumber Apprentice(I, II,III,IV year) to join our Calgary Manufacturing Plant.

Reporting to the Lead hand, Plumber Apprentice is responsible for assisting in plumbing duties and also supports the installation of HVAC equipment in modular buildings/units from rough in to finishing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation of plumbing in modular units from rough in to finishing
• Installation of water pipes, drainages and fixtures
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system, water supply network and drainage systems
• Troubleshooting and testing of all plumbing fixtures and systems in the modular units
• Follow all safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• Registered Plumber Apprentice under Alberta Trades.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools and materials
• Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time
• Capacity to lift heavy equipment and materials when required
