Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking an experienced Plumber to provide on-site maintenance for a healthcare client in Woodstock, Ontario. The role requires completing 5+ years of plumbing work, Red Seal certification, and a clean Vulnerable Sector check, with immunization as required by the customer.

This on-site position may require rotating shifts and working in a customer-focused setting. The incumbent will maintain water, gas, and drainage systems, supervise related HVAC and fire safety

Qualifications

  • Completion of Grade 12 or GED.
  • Certificate of qualification as a Plumber (Red Seal).
  • 5+ years of plumbing experience.
  • Vulnerable Sector Police clearance.
  • Immunization as required by the customer and in accordance with the Public Health Act.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of facility assets/systems such as pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain water, gas, and drainage on hospital property.
  • Oversee heating, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, and fire systems.
  • Monitor alarms, gauges and other instruments.
  • Carry out a preventative maintenance program through inspections of all mechanical systems and equipment associated with the plumbing and heating trade.
  • Additional Responsibilities may include general building maintenance.

In this role, you will report to the Sr Facilities Management Supervisor, the Plumber will provide on-site maintenance support for our client in the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing services to our customer, ensuring their satisfaction and building strong relationships. Your expertise and professionalism will contribute to the overall success of our team.

Must be comfortable in a customer focused environment, in which priorities can shift quickly. Participate in schedule rotation to ensure appropriate coverage of the site.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE

The hourly rate for this position is $39.68/hour in Woodstock, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
