Job summary

The Comfort Group, a division of RT Holdings Inc (Right Time Heating and Air Conditioning), is seeking energetic plumbers to perform on-site residential installations and maintenance. You will diagnose plumbing issues, service calls, and promote services while delivering top-tier customer care.

Applicants should have Apprentice Level 3+, residential plumbing experience, knowledge of plumbing codes, and a clean background. A valid driver’s license and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with residential plumbing service calls, water treatment and troubleshooting.
• Experience with water heaters (tanks, tankless and boilers) is an asset.
• Hydronic/boiler experience is an asset.
• Drain experience is an asset.
• Understanding of provincial plumbing code and standards.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract.
• Clear criminal background check.
• Be safety conscious and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Complete general and specific plumbing inspections.
• Promote Right Time products and services on every call.
• Do not sell repairs the customer does not need.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams.
• Keep vehicle clean and stocked.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Participate in training to grow as a professional.
• Deliver the best customer experience with a positive attitude.
• Mentor apprentices to become well-rounded plumbers.

What we are looking for:

We require energetic, motivated and career-minded Plumbers to be responsible for performing onsite installation and maintenance in residential homes.

• Apprentice Level 3 or greater.
• Experience with residential plumbing service calls, water treatment, trouble shooting and water heaters (tanks, tankless' s and boilers). Hydronic/boiler experience is an asset:
• Drains experience is an asset
• A thorough understanding of provincial plumbing code and standards;
• Strong customer service skills and good communication skills
• An accountable and responsible personality, delivering high customer satisfaction and has a positive, can-do attitude
• A valid driver’s license with a suitable driving abstract
• Clear criminal background check
• Be safety conscious and come with a willingness to learn.

What will you do:

We want our Plumbers to become masters of their trade and always give customers the red carpet treatment advising them on potential services or treatments that work for them.

• Complete general and specific plumbing inspections
• Promote Right Time products and services on every call
• Must never sell the customer a repair they do not need
• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams.
• Maintain a clean, fully stocked vehicle
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.
• An accountable and responsible personality, with a focus on delivering the best customer experience and has a positive, driven attitude;
• The ability to work efficiently and effectively independently and co-operatively within a team environment, completing installation, maintenance work and commissioning of plumbing elements in compliance with safety regulations, policies and procedures.
• Provide a five-star experience on every call or make it right before leaving the customers home
• Feel comfortable requesting online reviews from customers.
• Contribute to our high standards of health and safety
• Effectively mentor apprentices so they become well rounded plumbers.
