Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a skilled plumber to install and maintain plumbing systems at various locations in Canada. The role involves reading blueprints, marking positions for connections, and assembling pipes using standard fittings and welding where needed.

The position is permanent, with a 35-hour work week and English as the operating language. Applicants should have 3–5 years of plumbing experience and be able to work across multiple sites in Surrey and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
  • 3–5 years of plumbing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size.
