Job summary

Handyman Connection of Kelowna is seeking a skilled plumber to assist homeowners in Kelowna. You will install, maintain and repair plumbing and drainage systems, reading blueprints and ensuring safety and building codes are followed.

Ideal candidates have a valid plumber license, a current driver’s license, tools, a work vehicle, and strong references. Independent contractors must carry liability insurance and workers’ comp, and must pass a background check while using a smartphone and internet

• Experience in remodeling or residential repair trades.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair installed plumbing and drainage systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics and job specifications following safety/building codes.
• Identify materials and quantities for repair projects.
• Evaluate requests, quote projects, troubleshoot problems, and create work orders.

Job Summary

• Install, maintain and repair installed existing equipment and related plumbing and drainage systems.
• Work with and understand blueprints, schematics and job specifications as it applies to your craft and in accordance with safety and building codes.
• Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects.
• Evaluate requests, quote projects, troubleshoot problems, and provide work order descriptions to customers.
