Job summary

Bombardier seeks a Section Chief, Engineering - PLM Project to lead PLM-related workstreams across aerospace programs. You will oversee delivery of PLM capabilities in an IPDT setting, coordinating engineering and IT efforts and ensuring compliance with lifecycle processes.

The role emphasizes digital continuity, regulatory adherence (AS9100/ITAR), and collaboration with enterprise architects to optimize data interchange across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace product development or digital transformation.
• 3+ years leading or coordinating PLM-related projects, preferably with Siemens Teamcenter.
• Strong understanding of aerospace lifecycle phases and data management.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders within an IPDT framework.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of PLM project work packages across disciplines in IPDT.
• Serve as first-line leader for cross-functional PLM teams (owners, analysts, experts).
• Coordinate planning, resources, issues and progress to meet milestones.
• Align PLM deliverables with schedules, manufacturing readiness and gates.
• Act as liaison between PLM stakeholders and IPDT leadership.
• Support change management, training and user readiness for PLM adoption.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PLM processes and tools.
• Collaborate with architects, system integrators and leads to ensure data flow.
