Job summary

Global Partner Solutions in Canada is seeking an Engineering professional focused on PLM and CAD to define CAD standards, develop NX workflows, and integrate NX, CATIA V5 with Teamcenter PLM while troubleshooting issues.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years’ Siemens NX experience, strong GD&T/PMI knowledge, Teamcenter familiarity, and the ability to train others; Bombardier experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years of relevant industrial experience.
• Proficiency in NX and CATIA V5 CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T/PMI and engineering standards.
• Good knowledge of PLM concepts and Teamcenter.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
• Familiarity with aircraft development is an asset.
• Bombardier experience favored.

Responsibilities

• Define and document CAD standards with Siemens NX, templates, and best practices.
• Develop workflows for CAD data management within Teamcenter PLM systems.
• Integrate CAD tools NX, CATIA V5 and Multi-CAD with Teamcenter PLM systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct mentoring sessions and create user documentation.
• Review CAD models for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, IT and Partner Siemens.
• Analyze, identify, and propose improvements to engineering processes adapted to internal customer needs.
• Participate in workshops to capture requirements and user stories.
• Interact with different parts of the engineering organization to ensure applicability of proposed solutions.
