Your role, your impact

As a Platform Specialist, you will join our team and support our client in the capital markets industry. You will be responsible for managing large-scale applications on Linux, overseeing Hadoop clusters, and ensuring platform stability. You will work with CI/CD pipelines and apply your scripting expertise to automate manual tasks within an Azure/Microsoft environment.

1. Oversee and optimize the performance of large-scale applications running on Linux systems;
2. Administer and maintain Hadoop clusters to ensure efficient data processing and storage;
3. Ensure the stability and reliability of the platform, proactively identifying and resolving issues;
4. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process and improve software delivery;
5. Use scripting to automate manual tasks, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing the risk of human error.

Keys to your success

1. Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing large-scale applications on Linux;
2. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI);
3. Expertise in managing Hadoop clusters;
4. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell;
5. Strong understanding of platform stability and reliability;
6. Familiarity with Azure/Microsoft environment and tools;
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment;
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
10. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes);
11. Knowledge of capital markets systems and processes.
