Job summary

Goway Travel is seeking a Director of Technical Operations (Platform) to own the operational health of Goway’s platforms, from reservations to data pipelines. You will define standardized operating practices, drive incident management, and oversee provider integrations and cloud hosting, reporting to the CTO.

The role requires deep AWS experience, leadership across teams, and a focus on reliability and observability.

Qualifications

8+ years in platform/technical operations or site reliability engineering.
Proven leadership with revenue-critical platform availability.
Experience building operational practice with SLOs, incident mgmt, observability.

Responsibilities

Define and publish service levels for key revenue-critical services (quoting, booking, payment, traveler servicing).
Own end-to-end incident management incl. definitions, escalation, incident command, post-incident reviews.
Own RCA and problem management; drive change and release governance.
Build observability and disaster recovery plans; ensure operational readiness for new integrations.
Monitor integrations, dependency map, and partner risk with mitigations.
Lead AWS-based platform Ops, cost governance, capacity planning, and automation.
