Job summary

Buyerlink is seeking a platform owner for its North America hemisphere to steer the marketplace platform built on .NET. You will define the architecture, guide the senior engineer in Armenia, and own end-to-end delivery across customer-facing apps and services behind them, including API design, SQL Server tuning, and Azure deployment.

You'll coordinate with US, LATAM, Armenia and Ukraine teams, translate business needs into technical plans, and drive production reliability with a hands-on

Qualifications

• 5–8 years building and supporting production .NET applications.
• Strong C# and ASP.NET across modern and older .NET versions.
• API design and integration experience with external partners.
• SQL Server deep knowledge: queries, indexing, schema design.
• Production experience on Azure.
• Frontend familiarity (JavaScript/HTML/CSS) for customer sites.
• Judgment on legacy code and modernization decisions.
• Experience directing other engineers' work and setting technical direction.
• Comfort with evolving stacks and practices.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, testing, and release of features across .NET apps and services.
• Resolve production issues from report to root cause, including during your hours.
• Modernize components without disrupting a live marketplace.
• Design and build APIs used by partners, dealers, and internal systems.
• Improve SQL Server performance and data design under real load.
• Direct the Armenia senior engineer: priorities, scope, reviews, context.
• Build a handoff routine enabling productive overnight progress.
• Review code and raise shipping standards.
• Translate product/marketing requirements into technical designs and push back when misaligned.
