Job summary

A leading bank in Canada is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to enhance its Data & AI platform. You will drive technical direction with Azure and Databricks, ensuring high-quality support and compliance with the bank's standards. Candidates should have over 15 years in IT, strong Azure skills, and be well-versed in DevOps practices. Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience in big organizations operating in various geographies/regulations.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• 5+ years with Databricks on Azure.
• 5+ years using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform modules).
• 5+ years with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• 5+ years with development/scripting languages (Python, Go).
• 5+ years with container technologies (Docker).

Responsibilities

• Provide clear direction to the team, set goals, and keep the team accountable.
• Own the technical direction across Azure and Databricks.
• Ensure a high quality of support delivery for platform users.
• Continually improve platform processes and SOPs.
• Build strong relationships with data engineers and analysts.
