Job summary

Simpro Software Canada ULC est à la recherche d’un Platform Engineer pour concevoir, construire et maintenir l’infrastructure de la plateforme afin d’assurer évolutivité, fiabilité et performance.

Vous automatiserez les tests, déploiements et la gestion de configuration avec Terraform et AWS, participerez à l’intégration continue et à la surveillance système avec Prometheus, Grafana et CloudWatch. Possibilité de travail en équipe internationale et culture d’innovation assurée.

Qualifications

• Architect et maintenir l’infrastructure AWS, avec focus Lambda, NoSQL et SQS.
• Écrire et gérer du code Terraform pour automatiser les déploiements.
• Participer à l’intégration continue et à la déploiement des applications.
• Être disponible en rotation d’astreinte pour 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Concevoir, mettre en œuvre et maintenir l’infrastructure cloud AWS.
• Collaborer avec les équipes transverses pour les déploiements via CI/CD.
• Automatiser les tests, le déploiement et la gestion de configuration.
• Surveiller et maintenir la santé du système avec Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.

Contexte du poste

The Platform Engineer designs, builds, and maintains the Simpro platform infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. The Platform Engineers will automate the testing, deployment and configuration management processes. The Platform Engineer will select appropriate hardware and software components, configure the networking and storage resources and create security policies.

Ce que vous ferez

• Architect, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Lambda, NoSQL, SQS.
• ASG, EC2, EKS, RDS, and Cost Optimisation.
• Write and manage Terraform code to automate platform deployment and management.
• Be knowledgeable about Internal Developer Platform and contribute to create IDP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the successful deployment of applications using CI/CD tools.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 availability and promptly address any platform issues.
• Utilise monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch to monitor and ensure system health.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated on relevant industry trends.
• Manage an array of HashiCorp suite products.
• Foster a culture of curiosity and innovation within the team.
• Be a team player.
