Qualifications

What You'll Do:
  1. Promote Safety: Prioritize safety throughout operations in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
  2. Plant Operation: Operate plant equipment to control the flow of materials and manage stockpile inventories.
  3. Inspect Equipment, Structures, and Material: Perform daily inspections and maintenance, documenting repair needs.
  4. Monitor Processes and Materials: Ensure continuous flow of materials and maintain product quality, clearing clogs when needed.
  5. Document and Record Information: Assist with record keeping, production schedules, and prepare reports. Read and issue delivery tickets accurately.
  6. Repair and Maintain Plant Equipment: Support maintenance activities including lubrication and minor repairs.
  7. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills You'll Need:
  • Experience: Prior experience in the aggregate or construction industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of Best Practices: Basic understanding of concrete, cement, or construction industry preferred.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, extended hours, outdoors in all weather, and tolerate loud noises.
  • Mechanical Skills: Knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
