Our client is a leading manufacturer of highly-engineered plastic products primarily serving the automotive industry. They are seeking a Plant Operations Manager to oversee the P&L and enhance professionalism at their northeastern GTA facility. The role involves managing all production floor operations and collaborating closely with the executive leadership team to achieve company goals while maximizing profitability and efficiency.

We are looking for a data-driven, hands-on operations leader to coordinate daily operations and process improvements, challenge the status quo, and build on the company's successes. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing and production activities. The environment is complex, domestic manufacturing, requiring experience possibly in injection moulding, Industrial Manufacturing, Specialty Automotive Manufacturing, or Precision Consumer Durables, especially within regulated industries.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of management experience, strong communication skills, and expertise in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. The Plant Operations Manager must excel at multitasking, making critical decisions in a fast-paced setting, analyzing production data, and driving performance improvements.
