Job summary

Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee is seeking an Operating Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize facility infrastructure and processing equipment. Responsibilities include operating chillers, boilers, and water systems in line with TSSA standards and GMP policies, plus supporting capital projects and maintenance initiatives.

You will work with production management to ensure safe, reliable plant performance and lead a team focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a 3rd Class Operating Engineer in good standing.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience maintaining and reassembling components in a processing facility (pumps, heat exchangers, water treatment equipment).
• Mechanical and electrical knowledge of boilers, chillers, HVAC and related equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain chillers, boilers, HVAC and auxiliary equipment.
• Support and optimize operations of processing equipment including extraction and concentration.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
• Lead safety and compliance with GMP, TSSA and company policies.
• Collaborate with production management and contractors to improve efficiency.
