Our client is a renewable energy company based in Dublin.
We have been retained to recruit a Plant Manager/Production Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize system uptime by forecasting intake requirements in line with processing capability.
- Hire, train, and manage general operatives and night staff.
- Oversee monitoring of SCADA and alarm systems to maintain uptime.
- Manage scheduled maintenance for intake and processing equipment, including CHP units, flare systems, upgraders, and carbon changes.
- Ensure adherence to procedures for DAFM pre-requisite proposals (PRPs), HACCP, recording, and reporting.
- Act as the point of contact for DAFM validation and inspections.
- Engage with GNI, HSA, RSA, ISO staff, inspectors, and auditors alongside the Compliance Manager.
- Oversee daily system checks (FOS/TACs, pH, gas quality) and ensure daily reports are uploaded.
- Collaborate with consultants to optimize system performance and output.
- Prepare monthly KPI reports covering energy consumption, yield, cost per ton, etc.
- Work with the EHS/Compliance Manager to foster a safety culture.
- Oversee and contribute to EPA, DAFM, ISCC, and ISO audits and inspections.
- Ensure timely completion of sample analysis and reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Coordinate with the sales team on required intake levels.
- Collaborate with the Transport Manager to ensure sufficient dispatch and accurate reporting.
- Assist the MD and consultants in developing a 3-5 year operational plan, including Opex and Capex.
- Oversee all production and financial reporting, analyze against forecasts and budgets on a monthly basis.
- Conduct critical analysis of operational KPIs to support a data-driven decision-making culture.
