Job description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee all daily operations of our client's food manufacturing facility in the Lower Mainland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, ensuring workplace safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee plant operations including production, maintenance and safety.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor daily production metrics and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Lead and mentor plant staff, including department supervisors and team leads.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage the plant budget, including cost control and capital improvement projects.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on plant performance.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in plant or manufacturing operations, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations for food.
  • Proven experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
